Pickup Systems

Controls for the under bridge mounted piezo pickup are mounted on the instrument's side for optimum access. The battery compartment is also located on the side, close to the neck, to provide easy replacement.

A preamp system 49 (1-way) designed by Yamaha that combine to deliver natural amplified tone.

The CGX101A blends the great tone and outstanding value of the CG101A with the added flexibility of amplification. It features a bridge mounted B-Band pickup and a Yamaha System 49 (1-way) preamp that combine to deliver natural amplified tone.
